I was out shopping at Hobby Lobby and they had so many pretty things for table settings. I thought it would be fun to show you three ideas for simple table settings that you could use this summer.
This pink and green combination is so fresh and pretty.
Is that a napkin? No! It is a dish towel! The colors work great with the place setting and you could totally use it as a napkin. However, if you are not that adventurous you could use the solid pink or white.
The fun sparkly napkin ring adds a touch of glam. The cute little bee screams summer.
The woven placemat adds just the right amount of texture to add interest to the setting.
I think that this is my favorite of the three choices.
Next, a blue and white table setting for a cool summer look.
This place setting makes me think of cool water in a hot summer day.
The bead detail around the white placemat has so many different shades of blue that you can you could pull out and use with this setting.
The salad plate has the same colors as the beads and it is made of melamine. Perfect for outdoor dining.
This napkin ring is so pretty and adds a touch of whimsy to this setting.
This combination would look great with a solid blue dinner plate as well.
I can also picture this setting with pops of yellow. A plate with blue and yellow and a yellow napkin. Don't you think that would be so pretty?
This salad plate is so fun.
It is also made of melamine and the colors are fantastic.
You could also combine it with the green plate from the first setting that I showed you.
Let's talk about this lavender place mat and napkin. How fresh and summery can you get?
Check out the cute place card holder. It is a clear vase with faux flowers.
This is a really simple look, but it could really be elevated with the right accents on the table. Silverware, glasses, napkin rings and a beautiful centerpiece would make a beautiful place to share a summer meal.
I love how the hydrangeas from my yard have hints of lavender that blend so well with this place setting.
I hope that this gave you some ideas for how set up place settings for your summer time meals. Have fun setting your table.
